                                                              ORDER PULLER SUPERVISOR

Torrance’s Order Pulling Department is searching for a highly motivated individual that is looking to peruse a Management role within Ganahl Lumber. You will be tasked with leading your team in providing the highest level of hospitality to our patrons as well as replenishing stock levels and managing inventory. Helping to develop people to reach their highest capabilities while promoting growth within our company. The schedule varies with start times at 6:00am, 9:30am, and 2:00pm with a rotating Saturday shift. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills here at Torrance, where you will be at the ground level of our company’s evolution.

  • Holds a great safety record with good communication skills who can train, lead, and build a safe working culture
  • Has a track record of leadership that establishes Ganahl’s culture of hospitality
  • Works with other departments to help service the customers of Ganahl
Skills needed
  • Organizational and Prioritizing are a must.  This is a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and the ability to make the right decision
  • Proficient with Accuterm, scheduling, ticket writing, credit memo, along with Word and Excel programs
  • Capable of teaching proper use of the forklift and saw

Ganahl Lumber Company is the oldest lumberyard and hardware supply store in the State of California. Since 1884, we have been a family and employee-owned business selling building supplies and hardware for pro contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike. Our products include tools, paint, building materials, millwork, doors and windows. With ten convenient store locations, we serve customers throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
