Systems Administrator

Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support and maintain our core IT infrastructure. This role will focus on virtualization, identity management, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning across multiple business locations.

This is an onsite position based in Anaheim, CA, with occasional travel to other company locations throughout Southern California as well as periodic visits to datacenters when necessary.

Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain VMware virtualization environments
Manage Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, updates, and related services
Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
Perform disaster recovery testing and documentation
Manage enterprise backup platforms such as Veeam or similar technologies
Monitor system health and performance across servers, virtualization, and backup infrastructure
Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and/or Python
Assist with infrastructure planning, upgrades, and system lifecycle management
Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Provide support for multi-site infrastructure across company locations
Participate in troubleshooting complex infrastructure and performance issues

Required Qualifications:
Strong experience administering VMware environments
Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience managing enterprise backup platforms 
Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans
Experience managing backup infrastructure and restore procedures
Working knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python scripting
Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers
Strong documentation and organizational skills

Preferred skill and abilities:
Experience with Entra ID & ADFS
Linux administration
Proficient with Git
Familiarity with infrastructure automation or configuration management tools
KVM virtualization
Certifications in relevant technologies

Additional Information:
This role requires onsite presence in Anaheim, CA
Occasional travel to other company sites in Southern California (LA, OC, Riverside, San Diego)
Occasional datacenter visits may be required for infrastructure maintenance or upgrades
