Ganahl Lumber Northridge is undergoing massive changes as we transform our current lumber yard and build a new lumberyard.  We are looking for someone who thrives in a supporting role and enjoys a fast paced environment. The right candidate will possess the ability to multitask, problem solve, meet deadlines, support customers, and be detail oriented. We are looking for the newest team member who will contribute to the success of the yard.

  • Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Cash handling register usage, and balancing tills
  • Collecting and processing tickets through all our departments
    • Recognizing and correcting any inaccuracies or inconsistencies
  • Overseeing paperwork flow for the entire yard
  • Processing MRM’s into Credit Memos
  • Prepare deposits
  • Reconcile the daily transactions
  • Prepare COD transactions for final processing in accounting
  • Updating inventory in the computer
  • Mail delivery/pick up for all departments
  • Phone interaction with customers & sales team
  • Order store and operations supplies
  • Organizing and cleaning office
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Running reports for open orders & investigate

We are looking for someone that understands our systems and procedures.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record in generating great results in paperwork, meeting deadlines, and be proficient in both Excel and Microsoft Word.

Since 1884, we have been a family and employee owned business selling building supplies and hardware for pro contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike. Our products include tools, paint, building materials, millwork, doors and windows. With ten convenient store locations, we serve customers throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
